Jon, Acana is a fantastic dog food. Rotation feeding, means finding a few brands that agree with your dog and rotate them, but even then you should change slowly. With my dog I feed Orijen Adult, Orijen Red, Orijen 6 fish and TOTW (Wetlands & Wild Sierra). I can change any time with no issues with any of these foods, but this might not work for all dogs. The 6 fish does unbelievable things for a dogs coat and I give my dog at least one cup every day. Keep in mind Tony eats 5 cups every day because he is pretty active.

hello i have a 3 month old siberian husky i have ben feeding him royal canin maxi starter but when i shifted my food to timber wolf its stomach get totaly upset and for 2 days its going loose motion so how to cure my puppy pls help

hello.. I’ve read a few comments and i’ve seen “rotation”.. I assume that you’re referring to a rotational diet of dog food.. I always thought that if you mix dog food too suddenly or quickly, it is bad news for your doggy”s stomach.. I just don’t know what this means. Also, i’ve been feeding my dog Nutro ultra holistic superfood. I really want to change to orijen but it’s very expensive.. Is Acana good enuff>?

Can anyone tell me why distributors to the natural Pet places are not carrying the Timberwolf dog food. I cannot find it anywhere in North Dakota or Minnesota. Thanks

Hey Jess Thanks for the info on that coupon..I went through my address book and requested a coupon for everyone I know that has a dog/cat…at least we can use the coupon before P&G screws it up too much..that sucks-it will be the only bag I ever buy,the grain free chicken looks really good..Oh well their are lots of other more trustworthy manufacturers out there…I read an interesting/informative article,check it out… http://www.timberwolforganics.com/myths.html

It looks pretty darn good. I am trying to find a simple food to take the place of California Natural. But I am gonna buy one more medium bag with the coupon I am getting. Just can’t pass up a deal like this.

I just found out the butcher shop I go to sells frozen pet food for 1.29 a pound. I gotta think it is mostly fat trimmings, just like abady. So I bought a package for 2.25. I am gonna try and slice(I have a jig saw)the frozen meat into 1/2 inch slices and then I can keep it frozen, until I what to give him some. I bet Tonys gonna love that.

All of our fish meals are treated with certain qualified natural preservatives based on mixed tocopherols. Natural preservatives are not as efficient as the chemical preservatives such as ethoxyquin, BHT, and BHA but are added at higher levels. We do not source fishmeals that are treated with ethoxyquin.
