Royal Canin MEDIUM Bulldog 24 Dog Food Review
As with all dog food recipes the first thing we are going to look at are the first five ingredients. The first five ingredients are a good indication of the quality of the dog food. When looking at the first five ingredients you want to make sure there is plenty of meat and grains are minimal.
Royal Canin MEDIUM Bulldog 24 Dog Food First Five Ingredients:
- Chicken Meal
- Rice
- Brown Rice
- Oatmeal
- Soy protein isolate
Chicken Meal is the first ingredient and is a named meat ingredient. A dog’s diet needs to based on the fact that dogs need meat and protein that derives from meat.
Rice makes up the second and third ingredients. Rice is a decent quality ingredient and adds additional proteins and carbohydrates to the recipe.

Review

Bulldog 24 now has PORK in it. This made my Bulldog very sick. And yes I know how to change over food a little at a time! I would not feed my Bulldog this stuff!! Why did Canin change their formula???? They gave me some BS about how lots of dog food companies use pork and it is easily digestible! Huh, that’s funny, two different vets have told me it’s one of the worst things you can give a dog!!!
This manufacture pays for many vets schooling in return for pushing their product. This is one of the worst dog foods made today and it also contains the awful ingredients soy protein isolate, rice flour, soya oil, salt, taurine, more salt sodium selenite and citric acid. I would never feed this crap to my dog. Try one of these
