  1. This is a great idea for a small dog, I think my Doberman would eat me out of house and home very quickly.

I currently make my dog food. However, I too have a large and medium size dog. It is still cost effective and I feel the home made foods are the way to go. It does take time when cooking for large breeds. I make large quantities and freeze in containers and zip lock bags. I alwauys take advantage of chicken and turkey sales. I appreciate your recipes.
I mix my home made foods with dry food when serving.

    LOL!!!!

This is like a homemade recipe for low grade dog food!!!!

Corn! Wheat Germ! Brewers Yeast! Tomato Soup!!!!!! Is this guy kidding?!?!?

I even question the ground beef.

If this is what you are going to spend your time making, might as well go buy a bag of food at the grocery store.

First, the dog can’t even consume the corn so that whole bowl will end up in your yard. Wheat germ will certainly have your dog itching night and day. Brewers Yeast is associated with bloat which is very deadly to your dog. Tomatoes and those associated have been highly controversial for years.

How about chicken or turkey breast, carrots, peas and blueberries instead. :)

I agree with Eric. Also, cooking meat depletes important nutrients. Carbs are terrible for dogs! They are used in commercial dog food as “fillers.” I love my yorkie and she is part of my family however; her dietary needs are VERY different than a humans. Cooking your dogs food is NOT the way to properly feed it or meet his/her dietary needs. You would be FAR better off feeding it RAW food verses cooked and PLEASE nix the unneeded carbs. Dogs like wolves do NOT need carbs…PLEASE do your research and homework.

If you can’t handle feeding animals raw meat, then at least look into Orijen (a better alternative than “cooked” foods).

I never felt any desire to watch this, but I have to admit I did giggle a little when watching. Processed canned corn on top of it being corm, Wheat, lol. Recooking the ground beef. More processed foods in canned tomatoes, I am not a big fan of tomatoes but I can live with them. The moron might as will spice it up a little and really give out some really bad info.
