Just testing sig picture

This is probably NOT the place to do it but HELP!!!!!

To the rescue!!!

(1) I do not know how to begin a new thread

You just choose which subforum you want your thread to be in (ie Introductions, Raw Feeding, Dry and Canned food, etc) and at the top of the page on the left hand side there will be a green button you click that says "post new thread" just click it and start typing! Make sure you type in a title for your thread.

(2) cannot figure out how to contact a moderator-who I would have asked for this help :D

If you click on someone's screen name a box will pop up with four options, one of which is "private message" click that and it will send you to a compose message screen to that person. Feel free to contact me with any further questions or concerns

(3) cannot figure out how to put a picture of my dogs in my profile space. I hope that someone can HELP ME! :DThanks, Carol

Profile or Avatar? The picture profile is the one that people see if they go to your profile. The avatar picture is the one that shows up under your screen name on the left hand side of the page with every post you make. You can have a signature picture that goes below every post you make.

For changing the avatar picture:

Go to settings (top right corner of the screen)
Click on "Edit Avatar" on the left hand side about 1/3 of the way down the page
You can either use the URL from a picture that is hosted on the internet someplace else like facebook, photobucket, picasa, flickr, etc. OR you can upload on from your computer.
Hit "save changes"

These instructions are basically the same for any picture you use on DFC.

THANKS Danemama! I actually did it! I'll try the other advice tomorrow!!!!! This is my darling KO he was 91/2 when this was taken he is now 101/2. He loves to take advantage & climb up on a bed. My son was home and didn't know that this was not allowed (hmmm) so, he was caught. Usually he wits for me to be soundly asleep when he does it to me. The teerrible creature likes a pillow 2 and I awaken only to look into his wonderful eyes<lol>
