I'm pretty new, but have been posting for a couple of weeks. I just posted a reply in a thread that I started and I got the message that my post had to be approved before it could be visible. Do you know why this would happen? Could it have to do with my profile problems? See the top thread in this forum and that's me :) I ended up being able to register as "TuckersMom" and get the correct profile, so I've started using this account now instead of the old one: Tucker's Mom which took me to someone elses profile.
Thank you!
P.S. How do I add the standard smiley face? I don't see it anywhere as an option - just all the other ones.

This one posted without having to be approved - I was wondering if it would. Very bizarre!
Also, how do I add a smiley face in a quick reply? Sorry for all the questions.

It's because of your new profile... Did your post have a link in it possibly?
A normal smile is : smile : (without the spaces)![]()
Looks like there was a link in the post you quoted which caused the post to be flagged for approval. The forum script does that automatically to discourage SPAM
Jon is correct. There is anti-spam software on the board that creates a situation where a moderator has to approve cartain posts by relatively new users.
