Mixed Up Profile - Need Help

When I click on "My Profile," I get someone else's profile, someone with a very similar name: tuckersmom20 My name is: Tucker's Mom

Can this problem be fixed?

The only person that could help you with the bug you're experiencing is the Admin....I'm not even sure what is going on.

Is it possible that you signed up on DFC back in Feb of 2011 and forgot your login/password and created a new account here in April?

No, I didn't know this forum existed until recently :( Isn't this bizarre!? I would be willing to change my name (if that's possible), but will the new name attach to my existing posts?

Create a different account and leave the space out of the name. Use either TuckersMom or Tuckers_Mom. That should take care of the problem. If not, let me know and we will try something else. I would also leave the apostrophy out.

Well, I tried that and never received the email to confirm my account. I tried it twice! Then I tried registering with a completely different name: KimStephanie and I received the confirmation email immediately and everything seems to be okay so far.

Is there any way to find the threads I started under my old name? I haven't answered some people and I'd really like to. That's what I was trying to do when I went to "My Profile" - find my threads, and that's when I found out it was tuckersmom20's profile and not mine. This has really been bizarre!

Here's what you do:

On the far right of the tab thing at the top of this website, locate the search field. Click "Advanced Search".

Change the tab to "Single Search Content Type".

Under "User Name" put in Tucker's Mom.

Hit "Search Now", and voila! There they are!

If you want to see each post individually, you could change the "Show results as:" from "threads" to "Posts".
