So I log in, and want to reply to a thread, no problem right...? Wrong. I hit the reply, type my response, hit the submit, and I then am told to refresh. Sometimes I've been lucky enough to get the log in box that pops up so my reply is kept in tact. A couple times though I've not gotten that, and the post and everything is gone.
I can see it logging you out if you've gone a certain amount of time without any activity. When it happened earlier I literally logged in, and started replying immediately to a thread. What's up with that??

This happened to me several times today. Since I'm a new member, I thought maybe it was normal but I guess not! I lost a few posts.
When you log in, check the "remember me" box before you hit "enter". (I'm not sure if those are the actual names of the fields, but I think you get the picture!)

Ania's Mom, I have that checked and it logs me in. It happens after I've already been logged in.
It's almost like it's "timing out".
Only thing is, when you are "timed out" from a website it's because you left it "idle" for 5-10 min. This has happened right after logging in, and I was typing replies. Which should have let the system know that I was still on, and it wasn't "idle"
Hope that makes sense.

I have the "Remember Me" box checked off, too, and it still logs me out. I wasn't even idle, I spent like a minute writing a post.
Then I can't help you. That's about the extent of my vast computer knowledge.

The board was working a little weird for me this evening but straightened itself out later. I stay logged in for months at a time.
