How about an area specifically for recalled pet food......I would think that would be of interest to everyone. That way, it won't get lost among other threads. Maybe along the same lines, an area for recalled food other than pet food. Lordie Lordie, we've had plenty of that lately.

I know this isn't nutrition related but it could be a section in something like "THINGS YOU DIDN'T KNOW BUT WOULD LIKE TO KNOW." How about a section of "What to do if..." For instance, what to do if your dog has contact w/poison ivy? Another example could be, what to do if your dog swallowed your kid's lego piece? What to do if your dog got bitten by another dog and it isn't severe, and so on and so on, etc.

Some home made remedies could be shared and would be great for instances of stuff like poison ivy, small scratches, etc. When do you know if something is an emergency or not and the What to do if section may clarify some of this...

    Oops! So true.

I gotta tell you though I sometimes feel less than smart when I feel I should know something real basic about my animals and I just don't. Especially after having animals all my life. Maybe, I've just been lucky that they have been healthy. "Knock on wood!"
