I need Picture help.

Well I have tried to upload my Pics from Photobucket. Some worked and some didnt. I did that this morning and still havent seens my post. I also cant load an avatar picture. Can someone please help me? I am a member of many Fourms and never have had this many issues trying to post a few pics.

Since you're new here all your photo posts have to be approved to show up. I've approved all the ones I've seen thus far so you should be fine from here on out!

The picture is too big. You'll Have to use a smaller size of the image of you're pulling from someplace like photobucket. Use a thumbnail sized photo URL.

Welcome to the forum....bear with it...and before you know it...it's a memory. In regards to the Avatar....when using photobucket...
After you select a photo that you want to use for an avatar....place your cursor over the pic...then select "Edit".
Once in your edit photo page...you will notice that there are "preset sizes"...or "new size" that you can distinguish what size your new photo will be.
Once you crop....select to size....one step photo fix...or whatever photo fixes you want to do...and set the pic size to the avatar requirements set forth by this site...(175 by 175 pixels, which is generous IMHO)
You can then save a copy, replace original...or cancel on Photobucket
I typically save a copy....and then follow the avatar instructions listed in your user CP here on the forum....which will be "option 1, and use the direct link from photobucket...copy and paste that in the line for your avatar here in the settings/ edit avatar/ custom avatar section.
IF your photo will still not load correctly...look at the size of the pic...it may (even though it meet's the maximum 175X175) exceed 19.5 KB.

Hang in there....it's a short process...but worth it in the long run....it's a great group of people here....enjoy the ride and welcome to the forum.

I think I got it. Thanks for your help. This can be a pain but I think I got it now.
