I think it's great what you are doing! I've had several blind dogs (Chelsy is pretty much completely blind now) but never a deaf one. It has to be a challenge when they can't hear themselves barking. It sounds like the vibration collar would be ideal. That actually would be a great thing for a blind dog, also. I may have to look into getting one of those, the next time I deal with a blind dog when they can't see the hand signals. I've never thought of that before.
