You can't save every dog, or remedy mistakes STUPID people make everyday. If you do, you'll be living in the poor house or worse yet be a dog hoarder! Lol

These are some of the things I have learned working with rescue.

I must admit that it is not easy to adopt a pregnant dog.

That's how I got Mollie actually, she was a puppy from a pregnant stray adopted by friends of friends. Trying to find good homes for the 8 cross breed pups was not easy, compounded by the fact that the mother had obviously been 'got in to' by more than one male, so the pup's had different fathers. For example, Mollie is 40lbs and every other sibling is 75lbs plus.

I'm not trying to put you off as you know exactly what you'd be getting yourself into. It's just the fact that you aren't adopting just one dog, you could well be adopting the mother plus 7 or 8 puppies. And, the cost of the vet fees, food and vaccinations didn't exactly come cheap.
Hee hee, Mollies litter was born slap bang in the middle of a extra special huge family Thanksgiving dinner.

You are a sweetie to even consider the little pup though. :)

I know what you mean!! Ive adopted cats w/kittens and pregnant cats before..and it IS a tough time rehoming the kittens without starting to feel bitter!!

If I wasnt working, if Jesse made enough money for us to live on comfortably and if we owned our own place I would gladly take this little girl...but sadly none of those are true!

AH well....I REALLY hope that my acquaintance can help her and the pups out!!

Craigslist makes me angry.... downright angry.
I hope that the person you know takes this girl in, and that she doesn't go to some idiot looking to make a quick buck on her litter.

Poor pup. I hate irresponsible dog owners.
