Read a comment on another forum not to feed egg and liver at the same time for fear of an acute bout of pancreatitis. Is this something I need to concern myself with? Finn does sometimes get raw egg and he gets chicken liver just about every day (small quantity, and in addition to his muscle/bone meal). He gets beef kidney and liver sometimes when I don't have chicken livers.
Just curious. Thanks!
I don't think this holds any ground. Maybe if someone fed TOO much liver and TOO many eggs at the same time pancreatitis would result. Usually dogs get pancreatitis when too much fat is fed all at once....![]()
Yeah, that's what I thought. But one egg to one liver? Not likely to cause problems. I think some folks just get too concerned about things.
Thanks!
Yep they sure do!
