I've been feeding raw for 2 1/2 weeks, feeding chicken necks, backs, and leg quarters. He's only had pure diarrhea once, and some soft stool for a few days. Does it sound like he's allergic to chicken, or should I add in turkey necks?
You want to cut back on bone content, so like for my guys(who only get fed once a day) its just getting a little bit of bone into them, finding that perfect amount that allows them to have perfect poops without OVER doing the bone, REMEMBER......its ALL ABOUT Knowing your own dog!

So as an example, my Leo, he needs to have a little bit of bone per meal just to stay nice, and is NOT a gulper in the least....so when I measure out his 1# I may do a full pork heart(which are right about 1#) then add in a chicken neck, or maybe a 1/2 of a pork heart and a turkey neck, or maybe a whole chicken quarter, or liver, turkey neck, and some pork heart....so as you can see the options are limitless, all depending on the dog, how long its been on raw, and what proteins you have available!

I dont, personally, like it to be chalky/crumbly....so when adding more meat/backing off on the bone I look for that happy medium(per each dog)......and the white is from chicken, so once you start adding in more proteins you will see the poo take colour/texture of what ever you are feeding!

Missy had 2 oz of boneless for breakfast and 3 oz of bone-in for dinner. No problem so far but she has not pooped yet, she usually goes in the early morning hours. I don't think she will have any problems though!
