Thanks for all the answers. I'm gonna go ahead and cut the legs off the quarters and start weighing them starting tonight. It really is too easy to just give them way too much food without actually weighing it out at first I guess. Especially with Shade. He will eat until he bursts but I can't blame him. Who knows what he had to eat the first few years of his life. At least he's no longer counter surfing or eating socks!

Rocky has had it easy all his life. He has no idea what it's like to be denied food so he can afford to be finicky. It also doesn't occur to him that anyone would take his food from him. He'll just walk away from his chicken leg and leave it there for Shade to eat because he knows there will always be more!
