Our first hikin we sha'll go!

So.. Today turned out to be funner then I expected and I am SO HAPPY. I have always wanted to hike with my dogs but sadly I cannot drive and around here, it's hard to walk to a safe place to hike. There is a area I could go to but way to many ticks so it's not worth the risk. ANYWAY. My friend told me a short cut to get to the dog park (since it's a 30minute walk normally and this cut it down to 15minutes). I thought I'd have to go through a small bush and then I'd be there but this place was like a mini hiking trail thing. I decided to take Serenity for a walk to see if the walk really would be 15minutes but once I got there, instead of going near the dog park, I started exploring this place. Sunny missed out since his harness is missing :(. I didn't come across anyone and if I do, Serenity will listen or ignore people so I feel confident in letting her off. I am aware of whats around me and I watch her body language. I didn't let her off for 20minutes because I was unsure at first. She did great. She stayed close, didn't leave my eye sight. God I love this dog.

I wasn't going to post more photo's but I had to post these. I am so so happy. Defiantly going there more often. It's a good work out for me and it's a 5minute walk to get there.
