Hi there,
You mentioned on one of the posts that you were able to locate a raw feeding co-op in WA. I also live in WA and was wondering if you could pass on the info on the co-op you found. I am one week into feeding raw and am currently buying from a local butcher. But they seem to have a somewhat limited supply (chicken, beef, pork) and I am very interested in expanding our options. Thanks!
I did get to see your adorable little pooches!! :) They are cute together! :)
I have a neighborhood lab mix that will jump his fence to come and play with Owen through the fence and I try to get them to play in my yard where I can controle the situation a little more. The neighbor doesn't mind. I was told last night that she is ok with it as long as her dog doesn't come home with blood on him. :)
I assured her that I would not let it get that far! Only playing is allowed. When Owen started getting too rough, Buddy had to go home! Owen is also used to playing with Titus (the mastiff mix that is with my sister and brother-in-law) and that is a little more rough then most dogs play. I had to keep reminding him that he wasn't playing with his old friends.
Also, to reply to these messages, you can go onto my page and post so I get the message you posted something.
I know its confusing, but your not doing too bad if you have made it this far. My mom is having problems beyond her email! :)
:) Well to start with, you could go onto the photos threads and start a new thread for your dogs. When you start a new thread, it takes you to that screen and at the bottom of the page, there is a button you push that says something like, 'click to review attachments' or something like that. click on there and download up to 5 pictures like that. When you have them downloaded, they should appear as the name of the atachment.pdf or something like that. then put a text in the mesage section and post!! You should also have a button on the right side of this screen somewhere that says, 'album' or something like that. You can even go to the top of this screen where it says, 'all albums' in the green bar. That should get you somewhere!! Hope some of this helps. if not, I'm sorry!
Thank you for the complament. I also have Titus part time, he is a Neo Mastiff/'pitt' mix. He is now 4.5 months old and he is from a 'pit' I rescued from the streets, so I have had him since he was born. I do agree about having more then one only makes things more challenging and makes you think about everything from their view point more often. Owen is 1 year as of Dec 13th and he was a handfull when I got him at the innocent age of 6 months! ;) We are in tough times and are staying with family for about another month, so doing things that we used to do like snuggling on the couch have been limited to when my dad isn't home and I can hide it from everyone. That is one of his favorite things to do. Another is playing with his (nearly inestructable) toys that bounce when thrown.. ie tennis balls that last 10 minutes if you can pry it from his mouth before it gets popped and through it before he bounces over your head with excitement, or kong rubber toys that bounce one way then the other and he darts from here to there and back again before he finally catches up with it!
THEN, there are the 'zoomies' or the 'huckel-butts' when the back end runs faster then the front end and anything in the way just gets run over, knocked down or jumped on! I love those games of his... as long as I am not the one being run over, knocked down or jumped on! :) I love taking pictures of my dogs and hope to get more on here before long. I would love to hear some of your stories, questions, comments or just randomn toughts about your guys.
