How funny! My pup was born on the 24th. I definitely know what you mean by them being smarter than you think at that age. I live with a girl who got a puppy and it took him until he was 7 months to potty train. I was thinking I was in for trouble when I got Tobi (my pup), but he is already potty trained for the most part and hasn't had an accident in 2 days now.

Are you planning on doing straight Obedience and Utility, RallyO or Agility? Tobi we will start with O and U, then progress to RallyO, and, ultimately, Agility when he is old enough. We feel that it is a good progression while taking into account his development.

We are starting obedience. I'm looking forward to getting him in to some dog sports. He his just fearless and into everything!

I love the boxers in your avatar. They are beautiful! We have a flashy brindle rescue. What she lacks in good boxer conformation, she makes up for in personality. I have such a soft spot for brindle boxers. :)
