aw, liz, that's awesome...ya know what would be nice? an updated price list...the one i have is from 2010, i think.

i will probably be ready for plymouth poultry in september....right now, i'm broke from getting salmon oil which better work....and venison trim and hearts that i split with carol and rhiannon.

Ok...So Im VERY interested in starting to eat like you, with getting a job I might have an extra $50 or so to spend on food....and would LOVE to start feeling good about what I eat! Do you think you would be able/willing to help me make the leap?:D

hi....i think the how to is so different from list to list, forum to forum....and much of it has to do with know thy dog....we newbies are so scared in the beginning, we think it is impossible that it's mostly flying by the seat of our pants, with a few rules that make it safe for dogs, like no sharp edged butcher cut bones...no weight bearing bones...

my mentor made it easy for me...we figured out how much to feed per day....i bought a scale because i'm anal and can't eyeball for the life of me and a whole bunch of chicken backs...because i had fed too much and fed to richly at first, i had two dogs with hershey squirts and i was ready to give up....

and then i started to feed according to weight...of my dog, stripped the backs of excess fat, skin and organs and fed them backs for two weeks to stabilise the dogs...
