  1. Thanks for your message! I just found it! I am pretty new at this whole raw diet AND this great website!!
Anyway, things seem to be getting a little bit better. I figured out Tyler (bulldog) has to eat outside...no question! Gracie loves the raw meat only if I cut it into chunks. I can handle that although it is gross. I dont eat meat myself so this whole thing is very gross to me!!
Im getting a foster dog tomorrow (I make more work for myself!) Her name is Ruby and she looks JUST like the picture of your dog!! We will see how easy she takes to this.
Thanks for all your help!! It is greatly appreciated! It will be a week of feeding raw on Wednesday...so I guess I'll be ready for my next step. I'm sure I'll have more questions!!
    Thanks!! Erin
  2. Hope things are going well for you, whether you are still trying the raw thing or not. Reread some of the posts and started to think a tad. Maybe doing the raw diet with your busy house and work etc., might be a bit much all at once. We are both in the final few years of our work-life, no kids, just a couple of elderly parents to look after(one lives at the "home", the other lives next door). Our lives are really pretty simple and we don't have the realities of kids, spouse, house and work to try to juggle. A couple of thoughts might be, try the diet on weekends or your days off. If you are plannning a stay at home vacation, try it then. Look into a grain free kibble (EVO, Merrcik Before Grain, Wellness Core to mention a few). Theses kibbles will put their diet a bit closer to a meat based diet. I am going to send you a continuation as this message is too long in characters.
  3. Back again. A couple of other thoughts to try. Fresh chicken feet as a treat to provide some taste, texture and chewing experience. Cut off a bit of chicken (little morsels) and put with their kibble, again for taste, texture etc. This AM, my last two got a bit of Mackeral as a kibble topper, that I didn't give to the first two on the diet. So the most important to thing to remember, is that no matter how much dogs are a part of our household, do the best you can for them, but they are still a dog and other responsibilites should be placed above them.

DONT GO AWAY(and yes I'm shouting) but in a nice way
