Im originally from the Yakima area...but I havent lived over there in many years and have no idea where wholesalers, warehouses and such would be....but you might want to do a search for those types of places.

there is a rabbit lady, mary, who lives out your way and often has rabbit for distribution on this co op.

the co op you belong to has plenty of oregon and eastern washington members....

plus, there is portland and i know that isn't so close, but willamette valley, for which there is a price list on the files list is available and has good pricing.

if you're in yakima, i'd be checking craigs list for goats and lamb and beef....isn't that farming country, said the girl originally from the east coast? :)

keep checking the co op, for sure, because there are people who'd be willing to meet you half way, at least.

by joining this group, i believe there is a sub group that is forming an eastern washington group.....

there is a membership fee. it you're willing to volunteer, as we are getting more and more from your area.....it would cost you 10 dollars a year to join.

if you don't want to volunteer, then 25.00

but the run is from north to south to oregon.....and there are plenty from eastern washington....we have some in spokane, too.

There are some human meat suppliers in Spokane that will sell to you. We called last summer to get prices but ended up not ordering because we started sourcing live animals we butcher ourselves for better quality meat.

What are the places? I usually butcher meat for myself and family members and get some for my dogs too but lately havent really had the chance to do any butchering.
