Hi everyone, I live in South Jersey right outside Philadelphia. I have three dogs. I have a new Standard Poodle, GiGi, she is 16 weeks she is a cream color, beautiful!! I have a a Malti-poo, Frankie, he is 6 mths he is black and white tux front. He is only 4 lbs. My little love bug!! Last but not least my little Maltese Grandpop, Pepe, he is 13 years old. We lost his love my late Boxer she passed in May. She took a little piece of my heart with her.
The reason I joined this group is because I am very interisted in keeping up with all the dog food discussions. I also would love to talk to other Standard Poodle owners. I am new at owning a Standard Poodle. Hope to chat soon!!
Welcome to this site. I have just also joined. It has tons of resources and fab people to be with. They are blunt and honest. They don't beat around the bush :) Its a privillege to be able to tap into such vital information to make a concrete decision about what is in your dog's bowl!
I enjoy it here. I know others are too!
Hi & Welcome. I also have a trio of dogs. I hope you find the info you are seeking here. And have fun, too!
Hi everyone,
I'm new here also. I'm looking to find the best food that I can for my 2 year old boxer. He has sensitive skin issues and allergies. We had him on prescription food for over a year with no results. Hoping to find some good advice here.

Hello and welcome to both of you!
Noellec- There are quite a few standard poodle owners here that would be happy to chat poodles! BTW we need pictures of your puppies!
Colettec2000- Its always hard to have a dog that is plagued with allergies! What I suggest you do is provide a home prepared diet seeing as you want your dogs diet to be as simple and limited ingredient as possible. That way you know exactly what is going into his system which makes it much, much easier to find out what exactly is the irritant or allergen. It's nearly imossible to be able to figure out what ingredient in processed kibble is causing the problems since there are SO many ingredients in dog foods. I personally would recommend raw diet, but if you're not interested in that I would suggest a homecooked diet. Good luck and hope this helps!
