I rotate between all three varieties. And I try not to give anything with their food at all, as it makes for picky eaters. I will add some canned Wellness/EVO if someone has refused to eat for a while (mainly my younger dog who is more interested in play than eating and needs the calories). They do get a digestive enzyme that includes probiotics, but I don't think many here supplement at all.
My older dog gets a glucosamine/chondroitin supplement for his arthritis. It would not hurt to add glucosamine/chondroitin even in younger dogs as a preventative. Especially if they have joint issues in their lines.

Thank you very much for the info.
What about a pregnant female should I just keep her on her puppy food that I normally give her or is the TOTW good enough for her when she is pregnant and nursing? and it does state that it is for "all life stages" so am I to read between the lines and say when the puppies are 3-4 weeks old it is okay to give them this food or same as with her keep them on the puppy food that she is normally on.

Boy I am not sure, as I am not a breeder. I do know that pregnant bitches require many more calories, so I would think if you fed them TOTW you could just feed her more? I have read of success with weaning puppies onto it when they are old enough, but again I do not have any real experience with it. Just keep in mind that it is better than what you are currently feeding.

Welcome to the forum! I have had great experiences with Blue. My cats are on Blue Wilderness. No grain. They love it.

My labs were on blue bufflao. Wonderful food. We had the lamb one, wasn't until about few months ago we decided to go raw.

My labs suffered from itch as well. The follow changes I saw in blue:

    - no odor
    - white stools (2 weeks tops on the ground)
    - shiny coat
    - less hungry
    - no itchy

Because its cold compressed it's a great choice. I still don't like the grain it in. We were going to go to wildnerness but I figured if raw would be that much more expensive - why not? So if ANYTHING, I'd do Blue Wilderness. Go for no grain and fillers.

If I didn't go on raw, I would have gone that route for sure.
