Occupation: RN, but have been a stay at home mom of 3 kids for the past 5 years, 1 girl 2 boys.

About your dog(s): I have 6 american Bullys.
Loki: the boyfriends dog and the largest of the bunch. We arent exactly best friends but have managed to co exist together ;) { he has eaten my new patio set, shoes and my expensive purses}

Luna: My baby blue her nicknames include baLuna { baluga whale} Lue, Lunatic. She is the easiest of my bunch for training wise, most laid back dog I have and is just great all around is always ready to go when you are but just as happy napping upside down on the couch.

Cali: Is my firecracker, full of energy and always wanting to play fetch. She turned 1 end of august. We had big plans to show her but she ended up losing the tip og her tail in an accident with the garage door { auto shut was on it until that point and she was following my son out and got caught in the door } She is known here as the kids dog though , she will play with them on her own will lol. She is usually found outside laying by the swing while the kids play or snuggled on the couch or bed with one of them chilling.

Pep: She is calis mom we got her after we got cali and she has fit in very well. She is the Diva of the bunch though, she doesnt do wet grounds, rain, darkness, cold , snow or anything that involves water or extremely long walks. She loves her crate and sometimes is hard to get her to come out of it lol. she is the shortest of the bunch just a pinch over 15".

Crush: MY BABY, I love them all equally just he gets a bit more lol. We had him flown up here to vancouver BC from LA and had been waiting on him for over a year. he was suppose to be a she but was the only one in the litter, although we turned him down at 1st the breeder talked us into him he knew we would love him. Never regretted that choice yet lol. He sleeps in the bed at night and is spoiled as ever. his nickname is creep though and for good reasons. He has alot of quirks and most involve water or round objects lol.

Zeke: our newest addition. He came to us as a rescue { from another kennel , he is papered} and we took him in to help heal his infections he was battling and put some weight on him with the intentions to rehome him with a friend when he was better. { we wanted to buy him before we got crush but they never got back to us, and at this point we werent really wanting to add another male} but he has wrapped himself around my heart and made a permanent home here with us. Personality wise he is very similar to pep , without the hesitance to go out in the cold he is down for whatever.

Interests: My dogs, anything outdoors, camping, I have years of experience showing horses and working the barns I really miss that part of my life but horses have always stayed a big part of me. Shopping is probably my fav hobby though lol ;)

Favorite music: I can listen to anything except metal, I prefer Rap, hip hop, country and R&B

About your dog(s):I have four dogs, all of them rescues-Lucy is a 4 yo Beagle/Border Collie (rescued her from a guy that left her alone 17+ hours a day to go out partying;got himself arrested, we took Lucy, and when he got out and tried to get her back I told him over my dead body), Jacob is a two and a half yo Collie/Everything else (found him running with a pack of strays out in the country. When my mom came back outside with her fourth bowl of food all of them had vanished except him, so she called me and I took him :), Abel is a 2 yo Husky/Weimeraner/Mastiff according to that DNA test (he was returned to the rescue I was working at when he was 10 months and velcroed himself to me so that was that). Anna is a Shepherd/Elkhound we think, she just turned 2 December 1, (the rescue found her litter abandoned on an Amish farm, no mother around, and she bonded to me to the point that she didn't want to eat or even move if I wasn't there, they actually thought she was sick! My angel then, Ben, was sick with lymphoma so I didn't bring her home right away. Really I think she saved my life when he passed away.) Ben was a Shepherd/Collie/Dane and the absolute love of my life. He was only 8 when he passed and I still miss him everyday.

Interests:Dogs, crafting (I make soaps, lip balms, lotions, etc-all organic!), fish keeping, tattoos, guns and target practice, and whatever thing my fiance is into at the moment!

Cats: GG (pet store rescue) Pisces and Zodi feral colonly TNR failures on the R part, Butterball andother TNR fialure becuase stupid apt complex was disposing of the cats and she was a kitten so we retrapped her. Dolly moved in with BF's daughter. Fosters Lala, Lambert and Benji
Rainbow cats: My beloved Miss Bones. *tears* Lost her Aug 2011 after her rabies vaccine in Oct 10. Prince and Maverick both HCM cats, Greyson, Marly my seizure cat. Many babies lost rhtough the years I couldn't save as well.

i LOVE reading about human anatomy i have stacks upon stacks of medical books that i read over and over again i have the original greys anatomy (not the show) ive read it about 3 times now i have physicions desk refrences i read about the mediccal studies,intrested in natural medicine i own a mereck medical dictionary ive read thru about 2 times.
im in love with dog training such a thrill! oh i also love photography but dont feel like wasteing alot of money on a decent camera maybe someday. i also love to draw and paint.

About your dog(s): None yet! The family dog passed away about a year ago. I'm planning (intensely) for the next dog now that I know what I've learned here at DFC. Very exciting! Either going with a collie from Liz or rescue, depending on the situation when I'm ready (hoping for the very, very near future here).

Cats: Proud owner of my dog-cat Lucky. He behaves like a dog... but he is a cat. Long hair orange and white tabby, he was a rescue in very bad shape when I got him. He's living the dream now. Raw fed and loving it!

Interests: animal care, horses/ riding, canine and feline nutrition, jogging, dog sports, being lazy with the bf, DFC, raw feeding!!

Favorite music: I will literally listen to anything but opera, death metal/ excessive screaming or overplayed new radio songs. anything between country to old rap basically.

It was in Florida and it was awesome When you held him he just relaxed and got so comfortable...so he got a little heavy but he was so cute!! The man who owned him had him since he was a tiny little thing

Technically I own 2 dogs. Stoli a 4 year old Catahoula mix and Bella a 5 year old mutt. Head of a beagle, body of a cattle dog, blue eyes and an orange and white coat. I have a soon to be foster failure Sam a hound / border collie mix. All of them are rescues.IMGP1175.jpg

Stoli is more human than dog. He has his own spot on the couch and is an exceptional spooner. He spends the majority of his time on his back, he is a fan of the belly rubs. We joke if we ever got robbed, as long as they rubbed his belly he would point them to our valuables. He was found on a farm and rescued by some nuns and they gave him to us. Best thing that ever happened to me. I couldn’t live with out him.

Bella was found on the street and given to my vet, who adopted her out, but they returned her because she chased their cat. She was one day away from going to the Humane Society and that is when she came home with me. She can do no wrong in my eyes. She is as sweet as she is stubborn and boy is she SWEET. She loves Stoli but that’s about it. She is super protective of me, which puts any other dog that comes near me in danger of her wrath. That is something we are working on.

Sam (aka Radar – the pic will explain) is still young not quite 2 yet but is just a sweetheart. He was found on the side of the road with his 7 siblings all huddled together in a circle at about 8 weeks old. He is the only one left to be adopted. He is also the biggest and goofiest. He is a true hound, leads with his nose and can howl like a professional. But he is smart and hyper like a border collie (although he looks nothing like one). He is by far the most well rounded dog I have. He loves everybody and everything. He is my babysitter, it doesn’t matter what age, breed or problems any dog I bring in to the house he bonds with.

Interests:
Animal rescue, animal activism (working diligently on promoting animal welfare and rights in Alabama) that’s about all I have time for. If I had more I used to ride horses and would love to get back into it.

Favorite music:
Pretty much everything. I don’t listen to the radio so probably nothing new.

Favorite book:
I don’t really have one. I mostly read books European history.
