Hello from Pennsylvania!

Hey guys, my name's Steve and I'm a new dog owner. My aunt had a neighbor moving and couldn't take their dog with them so we decided to take her home. Her name is Ramona, she's a Black Lab and is 10 months old. ( no camera right now to take pictures )

I went to the pet store tonight to find something healthy for her, she's been fed Pedigree her whole life but I really want something that's better for her. It was a little intimidating looking at all of the choices. I was already told to look for the first few ingredients but that was about all of my knowledge beforehand. I ended up going with Natural Balance Original Ultra because from what I've read to the other dog food ingredients it seemed to be the best there. I also liked the fact you can feed them their whole life on it without switching to adult foods later on. Bought a 5lb bag to try it out before buying bulk, brought it home and she loves it.

Went online and searched for "best dog foods" and came across this site. I've been on here for a few hours now reading articles and love what I'm learning so far. So obviously I had to join these forums
