    Default Hello

I am new to this site. We have a new lab puppy arriving in two weeks! This will be our second lab as we lost our first one of twelve years 1 year ago. I am hopeful that this site will help or family and our new puppy grow together.

    Thank you

Welcome! So sorry to hear about your loss - it's amazing how much love these guys bring us, and how difficult it is to lose them.

Glad to hear you're welcoming a new lab into your heart and home, though!

Thank you. I will post pictues soon. Currently we are feeding her Perina Pro Plan. That is what the breader was feeding her. I have found that the more you read the more you get confused on what brand is good for your dog. Our last dog lived 13 years on Science Diet. These ratings show that is one of the worst foods out there.

Well to be quite blunt it is one of the lesser foods out there. There are most definitely better choices out there for your dog and your pocket book.

I agree with Natalie. There are much, much better kibbles that you could find that would be close to the same price your paying for the Purina.

Have you checked around to see what other kibbles are near you?

Yes I have to agree. The more I read this site the more I learn. 13 years ago I never did any internet research. I will keep reading. Thanks for your input.
