Hi All,
New here...My name is Tori...Tedi my Service Animal has been my constant companion for the last 8 years...he will be 10 in April of this year and I love him madly. Some say he is too old and should be retired but I believe it would be the end of him. Heres to happy posting
He's adorable! And the name fits perfectly. What a cutie.
Is there a retirement age for service dogs? If not and if he still enjoys it and gets the job done, no need to retire I would think.
Aww, what a cutie...hello to both of you and welcome.

Thanks..From what I am told it is 6 to 8 years old...he has slowed down a little and needs to have a little more time and extra care...but I agree with you!!!!
Welcome Tori!
Tedi is adorable!
Yay another service dog! I have one too, My chihuahua :) Welcome.
And no there isn't really a specified retirement age for a service dog as far asIi know. It depends on each dog, like if they get arthritis bad, it would be hard for them to be out much. So it really just depends on the dog.
My dogs are not spoiled, I am just well trained
