I LOVE Corgi's! I have one and my daughter has one. They are amazing little gems. When were thinking about adding another dog to our pack, we were wanting to get a smaller dog, but one who could mesh physically and mentally with the "big guys". Clyde, our Corgi, is clearly a Rott in his mind. He keeps them all in line and helps with their daily runs!
Where do you live? I am in PA, and there is a great site that offers whole prey items and also almost anything ground. You can pick up or they ship. Google Hare Today. Shipping can be pricey but what a great job they do. I have been a customer for 2 years and am very pleased with their products. I have found with my Corgi, that it is tricky finding just the right amount to feed. He will eat everything offered, but that has caused runny stools. I am now pleased to say...all is well. His diet is mainly chicken wings...and chicken leg meat I have cut off the bone, a raw fresh egg once a week that I make a slurry with a spoon of cooked sweet potato (skin too), and a spoon of regular cottage cheese. I also add some olive oil. I don't measure anything...I go by sight. When I do get the shipments in...I will add some beef heart, beef kidney, and chicken liver. The chicken liver I pick up at the grocery store as well as the chicken. I can get the chicken leg quarters for .50 a pound! So I buy 40 to 50 pounds at a time.
Good luck with the Corgi! And the raw!
Welcome Coral!
Gally has a beautiful smile!
