    Default Howdy

Wanted to give a quick introduction. I am owned by a menagerie of pets...2 Percherons, 2 Quarter Horses, a flock of 12 chickens, a field mouse (long story), and one Siberian Husky. I use to rescue Northern Breeds and love the Malamute and Siberian Husky. Dakota, my Husky, was my last rescue/foster dog, who won my heart and here she stayed, she will be 13 in March.

Anyway...that is me in a nutshell. I am blunt, though I don't mean to be, that is just how I am. I love a good cup of coffee and am an animal lover...

Welcome. I am getting some chickens soon, I can't wait for fresh eggs. When I hear "field mouse" the Green Mile always pops into my head :)

Thank you all for the warm welcome. It is nice there is a group of people who are more interested in the health and well being of their animals than showing them off or vying for attention! Tiny, our field mouse I saved when we caught her mama in a trap in the house....we have had her for about 3 years I believe and each night she comes out of her house, sits on it, lets us talk to her then zooms around.

Here is my old Malamute/GSD that I lost in April, Rocky, with our grand daughter Lily when she was a few months old:

And it is "Alpha" mare to you missy!!
