Default we are going to be home owners!

It is funny how things work out....

We have been wanting to own our own home, but we have no credit or that much money for a down payment. well, there was a death in my husbands family. and we got the house out of it.

I am thrilled :) 3.8 acres, 2 story, 3 bedroom, newly remodeled house out in the middle of nowhere!

but I am scared too because I have to move and leave my job behind. but that is another post!

I'm so sorry to hear of a death in the family, but it's great that you are home owners out of the situation!!! The house sounds exactly what we are looking for too! Congrats!

The stress of moving and getting a new job will be far outweighed by the thrill of owning your own place!

I'm terribly sorry about the death in the family, but how exciting to own your own home! Congratulations on that!

I'm sure it will be an adjustment, but well worth it!!

    Congrats on the house.

Sorry to hear of the death in your hubbys family. Glad to hear you will be a home owner! You will certainly enjoy it!
I've seen a look in dogs' eyes, a quickly vanishing look of amazed contempt, and I am convinced that basically dogs think humans are nuts.

How exciting! XD I mean, shucks to hear about the death, but a house isn't such a bad deal. Just remember, keep the heat low, or the power bill will be OUTRAGEOUS. haha. I like the idea of the three acres. Your pups are just gonna LOVE that. I mean, my pups love my .10 acre lot. haha. I wish I had a two-story house, but we settled for a one-story, because we just absolutely love it, and it was cheap.

some people hate a wood stove. I grew up with one, i love how they smell!

I am counting down the days :)

I grew up with a wood stove, too. I LOVED it. XD Only problem is that it didn't heat the house that well, and if you wanted it to, you had to burn a LOT of wood, which could be just as expensive, and sometimes it got too hot in the room where the stove was that we'd have to open windows. They're certainly tricky! haha. But yeah, I envy you, because I have no fireplace at my new house. DX
