Went and saw The Wolfman on opening day woohoo! Benicio Del Toro for me did a great job as The Wolfman! The special effects of his changing into the character were very engaging! Anthony Hopkins is a fave and had his calming effect and wickedness! I took my son with and we both liked the gore and horror. could have been more though! But when it ended my first words to him were well, that was rather gruesome! The setting is the late 1800's. Its not Lon Chaney werewolf movie at all but the werewolf's name is Lawrence in reference to Chaneys Larry! You've got murder, revenge, jealousy, an asylum! For me liked it so did my son! Now my other son who does not live with me he has his own place downtown, he did not care for the movie . He thought it was not moving along fast enough! Well there you have it different opinions! But for me I would say see it!
I've seen a look in dogs' eyes, a quickly vanishing look of amazed contempt, and I am convinced that basically dogs think humans are nuts.

I want to see this but it isn't getting the best reviews so I'm always hesitant to spend money if I don't know if it will be amazing. I'm a super cheapskate!
An ounce of nutrition is worth a pound of vet bills.
I read some of the reviews and they weren't that great so it's good to hear your opinion. My husband always thinks the movie will be great if the reviewers hated it!
We just saw Zombieland......talk about gruesome! I'm still trying to decide what my opinion of that one was. Bizarre, but what can you expect of a movie with Woody Harrelson in it.
You can always wait for the dvd or blu ray! When I question a movie or just cant go at the time I wait and get it when our movie store has it for 1.99 great price at least in my area! My son the one who did not care for it is probably around your age, hes 25! The one who went with me will be 17 in april and he liked it alot!

I saw at the show and rented Zombieland. I will most likely buy it on blu ray! Now my hubby did not care for it! He doesnt like well anything gruesome I am alone there I like it haha! Well not so much like SAW movies those to me are sadistic, torture, movies but I did see the first two and liked #1 but it still had its turn your head away from the screen moments alot of torture, I like suspense and horror though always have! Like the sixth sense I really enjoyed that one! So Zombieland was for me was great ~I loved The Bill Murray Part now that was a hit! If you thnk Zombieland was gruesome then Wolfman is more ! Their are parts in it that are stomach turning with the killings! But then it is the Wolfman! I like all the old films with the wolfman the Mummy The Vampire ones all the B&W ones! So for me I wouldnt miss s=this and I will see Shutter Island when it comes out or someitme then! I am just a fan of this type! But for me it was a good movie batter than whats out there now like I said My son whos 25 didnt care for it! he thought it was just not enough doom and gloom and too slow!

If you like gruesome then I'll assume you've seen all the Evil Dead Movies? We have them all although I"ve only seen Army of Darkness. My sons and husband love the whole set of them. My husband says the most gruesome movie he's seen is Dusk to Dawn. I haven't seen that one. My 20 year old son actually bans me from watching some movies with the 'guys' because he thinks he's protecting me. I don't mind the gruesome if its done in comedy like Zombieland was (I think Bill Murray really looks like that now....no makeup!). I'm just not a fan of the real scary, torture kind of things...or devil stuff. But give me medical or forensic gory stuff any day of the week and I'm there watching it but my guys get grossed out by it......go figure!
OMG~ YES~ I have seen the evil dead movies haha! My one daughter bought one of them Gee I dont know which one it is but yes have seen them! Need to wait for a special to get the rest! I think for me Hell Raiser was really morbid just over the top with the skinning of people now that really effected me~ I did not care for that ~ too horrible! I like like The one with jodie Foster and Anthony hHopkins hes the bad guy and they are catching the serial killer (notice I cant think of the name UGH) I can take really sacry as long as its not the carve the skin off of people scary haha! Your son is very nice to you! I like when the kids do these type things!Ha Bill Murray has changed quiet alot over the years! My daughter liked him in Life Aquatic! I liked him in Caddy Shack haha! Do you watch Dr.G Medical examiner? I like that show! And I watch some of the csi series on tv! Those can be good and bad! Hopefully you will get to see Shutter Island! I am hoping its really good not just all hyped from the commercials! Your guys then are like my hubby haha! He doesnt even care for Michael Meyers or Freddy kruger where for me they are a joke haha!
