Ya know, sitting here in my office I got to thinking how much I have learned from the members of this forum. Now, I am active on multiple forums across the web including boxerforums and mycorgi just to name a couple, but the wealth of knowledge that I have gained on this forum surpasses all others.
As y'all know, my Corgi has just had the most terrible diarrhea issues, and though I consider myself pretty educated, his issues far outweighed the things I know, and I sought help here. Thank you, everyone, for taking the time to read my lengthy posts about his issues, and for taking time out of YOUR busy schedules to offer advice in the kibble section. Grissom is my special boy, and I lost a lot of sleep trying to brainstorm possible solutions, and you guys really helped.
Thank you Rann, RFD, Dane, and everyone else in the raw section for answering my amature questions as I make the switch once and for all with Grissom. I appreciate your time and experience, and willingness to take the time to help my Corgi. It is much appreciated.
I know we all log off every day and go about our "real" lives, but where I'm at right now in my "real" life doesn't include much of a social life outside of my job and fiance, so thank you everyone, for creating a (mostly) friendly atmosphere and being so willing to solve the problems deemed "hopeless" by the undereducated vets. Grissom is going to be okay, and without lifetime steroids and antibiotics, and I really do owe it to you guys, because without this forum, I'd be giving him RX Eukanuba, mass doses of antibiotics, and steroid shots twice a month for the entirety of his life. It might sound silly and dramatic, but figuring out his issue, and then getting to a solution that will not compromise his quality of life, is the biggest relief of my life.
I guess my point is just....Thanks.

And thank you! You totally make me feel better about not being the only 20 something year old with 4 (and counting) 4 legged "kids!"
Everything that I have learned about raw feeding, well most, has come from here too...which is the only reason why I'm here to give the advice back in return. I can't possibly list all of the other tips, pieces of advice, opinions that made a difference, etc that have come from here on other topics as well!
I am also on a few forums, and this one is by far my favorite...I like that there are 25,000 people on here and its a close knit group...altho I wish there were more active members on here!

Hey thanks! It's pretty ridiculous but I find myself talking about you guys in my "real" life from time to time so don't feel bad about not having much of a social life haha. And hey, I'm a 20 something too! And I'm glad there are a few of us on here.
I'm just happy that Griss's problems are hopefully solved now and I must say, I love this forum! I love being able to come here and learn and get advice and help people who ask for advice and hearing the great success stories from everyone.
An ounce of nutrition is worth a pound of vet bills.
Now I feel left out among all you 20 somethings... :( I'm a lowly 30 something
I really like the direction the forums have gone the past few months since I joined. I hope we can continue well into the future
