I hate that I spent so much time away...and I can't believe I even missed out on secret santa! Boy was I bummed when I found out...but last October was such a busy month, and then out of nowhere I got a call for a job offer I was waiting for. I had to put my 2 weeks in, take care of a bunch of stuff, and before I knew it, I was starting my new job in November. I've been stuck in a bunch of classes, not to mention 2 weeks of jury duty, which put my classwork and work on hold! Right in time for the holidays too
But now that all that craziness is over, I'm back! I guess you could say my secret new year's resolution was to come back to DFC...(sad that I had to resort to that, I know!) The one drawback is I can no longer access DFC at my new job...so I won't be able to chat with ya'll until I get home everyday, oh noes! I bet I have loads of threads to catch up on (part of me has actually been dreading this! I hate feeling out of the loop and left behind!) and a bunch of new people to meet (almost typed 'meat'....LOL...always thinking of Louis' next meal
)
Nothing much else is going on in my neck of the woods...except that Louis had his 2nd birthday in November, which also coincides with his 1 year of being 100% PMR! I was super excited...in fact, I've found quite a few more meat sources since I was last here. I've been shopping around at more ethnic markets, and I've found all sorts of neat stuff like lamb tongue, all sorts of goat cuts (Louis LOVES goat, omg), quail...etc. In fact he had a quail for Christmas dinner, and he had one tonight. I was so happy he ate his first whole prey meal! Now he's all food-coma'ed out and snoozing away like a baby.
So yup...here I am!![]()

Sounds like you have been really busy! I think we all have times, where we have to pull ourselves away, from things we love doing! I know I do at times! Welcome back!
I've seen a look in dogs' eyes, a quickly vanishing look of amazed contempt, and I am convinced that basically dogs think humans are nuts.
