my honey and i lived on opposite coasts. we met in a moderated chat room on aol called the bookshelf.

we are amongst the original aol couples that geraldo rivera followed....seventeen years later and still going strong.

I first saw Steven at a friends going away party, but I never actually spoke to him. I actually thought that him and his mate (who was the best man at our wedding) were a bit stuck up haha. Their other friend just sat down and started talking to me (just cracking jokes etc, not trying to hit on me or anything lol) and a week or so later I saw them out on a Saturday night, stopped to say hi to the one who talked to me at the party, and then said hi to Steven as well. Then he added me on myspace hahaha and thats how we got talking

It was a month or so later that we first "hooked up" but then hit a bit of a rough patch, ended up getting together at my 19th birthday party, started "officially" dating the day after that and then the next day I was suppose to move 2 hours away for university haha. I did one semester at that uni then moved back home, and now we've been together nearly 5 years, and married for just over one

Bit of a juvenile story haha but it's our story and I wouldnt change it

Party.....that I was drug to, off my mare to be exact!!!!Lol

No really, I was told (by my dear friend Huginn's Mom) that I needed to get out of the dust and sweat and get dressed in something other then work or barn clothes and go to a party with her. She and Jesse went to hs together......and the rest is history!! And of course for the important dates: we have been together for 3 years in mid March, have had a dog(Brody) together for 2 years late January and married for 2 late March!!

The guy I like doesn't have a clue what he wants and the guys that want me.. just don't appeal to me. So I'm loving everyone's more successful stories haha
