I was 37 too, she was 24. One and only time. 15 years this July.
we met over Halo. yes, the Xbox game. let me explain.
a mutual friend of ours found out that my bff and I loved to play video games and invited us to where he lived (a bach pad) to play.
we showed up to a house of 16 single guys - I don't know why, but we just shrugged it off and played anyway.
the guys loved that we did the same things we did and kept inviting us out. eventually the owner of the house came home and we met.
I thought he was dumb because he always asked me the same questions every time he saw me.
he thought I was shy because I never talked to him.
we Facebook friended each other and talked over chat, then eventually started dating in 2009.
he told me he loved me one month later, and asked me to marry him Oct of that same year. we married the following Feb :)
we dated the longest in our group of friends, if that means anything.
also, he's 30 and I'm 23.
I made sure to pick a guy who was already mature and had a career ;)

Ok, I'm a newbie but here goes anyway;
Not too long before my 20th high school reunion I decided to stop banging my head against the same brick wall repeatedly and got out of a 5 year long, going nowhere relationship, I was truly at a point where I was done with relationships and didn't want to try anymore.
I started going on facebook a bit more than I had been and about a month later I got a friend request from a guy I had dated for about a month sometime shortly after high school, I couldn't remember why we had broken up and I always had fond memories of him and it was 20 years ago so of course I said yes. Turns out he was single and moving to the city I lived in, we had a lot in common, the more we chatted the more I looked forward to chatting, he couldn't make it to the reunion but finally we decided it was time to meet. Well let me tell you it was like a scene out of a freaking romance movie, it felt like I was being pulled towards him with a magnet and we were both shaking like a leaf while we had our first kiss, within a week we had said the "I love you's" and married within 2 years, that was this past July. Again, when you know, you know.
He's been married before and I have 3 wonderful step-children, we have a great relationship with the ex, and since I come from a step-family myself it isn't at all weird for me, and best of all I have my 2 absolutely gorgeous fur-babies!! I have everything a girl could ever ask for![]()
PS. Age, he's 4 months older than me. LOL

Wedding Pictures 126.jpg
My husband and I met online through a website called Christian Mingle when I was 18 and he was 24. I know, relatively young. We've been together for 5 years now and married for 2, and couldn't be happier! He truly is my best friend and partner in life. Our only baby is Miko (pictured in siggy), who is 18 months old.
Here is a picture from our trip to Australia & New Zealand last September for our 2 year anniversary. I have a blog about our life & travels together as well as some dog nutrition/raw feeding info (including this site) here.

Glad you liked NZ. Kiwi's aren't a bad bunch really, well, most of the time!

I LOVED NZ... didn't want to leave! We made a few friends that we keep in touch with, too.
I read this whole thread to try and figure out who moved from the first page. Never did see it.
Warning, mines is not a love story. I wanted a date. So I picked out 5 different girls with different backgrounds and builds. 2, I wasn't there type and 1 of which I really wasn't her type. I didn't know who I would like best so I took them all out on a few dates. Choose the one that wasn't even interested in me and we've been together since. She said I changed her interest. It was mostly things that weren't important. She wanted a white guy, older, and liked to watch TV. I didn't like TV, I wasn't white and I was 2 years younger lol. Some people sweat the small stuff too much.
5 dates: 1 was a friend setup. 1 From college math. 1 from yahoo meeting thing. 1 from another college class. And another friend setup. I kept the one from yahoo without ever actually signing up for yahoo. She posted her e-mail on her profile and I used that to contact her. I'm not even a stud. I think I have way too much confidence.
