Default Iceberg capital of the world

Went to Twillingate a couple months ago to try and catch a glimpse of some icebergs. It was insanely windy that day I believe it was the last remains of a hurricane. The icebergs were mostly too far out still to get decent pictures but there were a few smaller ones closer to shore. They used to have a mining operation up there years ago and left a lot of the gear around so they painted it up and placed it around the cliff trails as decoration.

Gorgeous! Told you it was prettier than Alberta. AB is only nice if you really love mountains and wheat.

Beautiful! But it looks extremely windy!! Look at those waves, not very inviting for a swim ;) I have a few puppies living out in Newfoundland but mainly in the St. Johns area.

Twillingate is a beautiful spot, even more so when the wind isn't almost blowing you off the cliffs.

I see lots of Boxer puppies lately come into the store. 99% of them are out of control which is sad. Its like Labs around here, popular but most are "Marleys" because people aren't putting the time into them.

Have you lived there a long time? That is really beautiful and really scary looking at the same time.

I've seen a look in dogs' eyes, a quickly vanishing look of amazed contempt, and I am convinced that basically dogs think humans are nuts.
