Default Who else is sad to see the daylight hrs dwindling?

I really love daylight savings time....and it's almost over.

It's pretty much the only thing I love about summer.....

I dread this time of year because my dogs have to get used to not being able to go out for that last late run after dinner. Especially now that I've moved and now don't have sufficient outdoor lighting. I hadn't thought about getting the floodlights high priority on the "honey do" list....oops. Now I just have to take them outside and tell them to "RUN AROUND!!" just to wear them out when they get too nutso in the house.

Of course the upside is the cooler weather coming, and less bugs.....YAY!

I hate it because we can't get a walk in after work.

I love that it's getting cold, and dark, i love laying out in the yard in a lawn chair in the snow and looking at the night sky... fall/winter is definitely my favorite times of year...

I usually walk the dog with a flashlight but it's nice to do it in the dark to... but not for everybody.

I used to love winter and the rainy weather. Now I'm old and it's too big a hassle, lol. I have a lot of outdoor chores (cleaning chicken coops, etc) that seem harder in the harsh weather. Plus we have one vehicle with 4WD witch means car pooling in the snow.

I love the cooler weather too David.....just not the short days. I used to bike with Ari at night in the winters....kinda spooky with how dark it is here. No street lights in my area, but I loved flying down the road top speed racing Ari with just the measly bike light. But Kai just doesn't enjoy biking, so that's out. I'd hate to leave her behind.......

I think that I truely detest winter. Autumn, I don't like because it leads to winter. The cooler it gets the more I ache. The shorten days sour my moods and all I want to do is curl up in a soft, warm spot and not move. Ehh, I guess that's why I like Iggies so much. They'd rather be curled up inside than out in the chill (at least mine do).

Me too. And the older I get the more I hate it. Dogs all cooped up, can't go anywhere. Bleck.

I LOVE Fall. LOVE. IT. I need to take the dogs to the canyon and get pretty Autumn pictures.

I'm a night owl, so I can live with longer dark hours.
Though I can't for the life of me figure out why people cross the street when I walk my dogs at night.
