Guess I do have the right personality for a funeral home haha :) I just got offered the position at the funeral home I interviewed at yesterday, for an admin assistant position. Pay is okay, will be enough to pay my bills mostly, and it's only 15-20 mins up the road from my apt (very pretty scenic drive), and the people seem nice.

Administrative Assistant
Full Time - Hourly
90 Day Grace Period with review at the end of the period
Starting Hourly Pay of $12
Hours will vary depending on work schedule, generally Monday through Friday 9AM to 5PM.
Weekend coverage every other weekend, depending on need

Mandatory coverage of office Saturday, January 28, 2012 - Saturday, February 4, 2012

Re- it's because she is going on vacation that week. She's the office manager, I will be working mostly directly under her, so I need to cover her duties as well while she's on vacay.
