    It sure does. Did Steve Jobs have pancreatic cancer? My mum lost a very good friend to pancreatic, and we are currently watching my step-dad rapidly deteriorate with bowel cancer... it's a of a thing!! If I had one wish, it would be for a cure

    Yep, the guy was a genius. Only 56 years old, what a shame.
    Cancer, it just shows you that having all the money in the world can't beat it.
    I wonder how the stock will hold up, losing your figurehead and the brilliant mind behind their products, what a loss.

    At only 56 years old, just think what all else he would have created/improved. He will be missed.

    he had pancreatic cancer....and it was a rare type and not as aggressive as others....i'm not sure how the liver transplant tied in with that....i don't remember reading an explanation for that.

    my guess is the cancer jumped, as it often does, to his liver....hence the liver transplant.
