Default Re Has had a great day.

    i have two birthdays.

the real one was today. sept tenth. born at 12:10 a.m.

my mother wanted me to share birthdays with my cousin, so she backed it up to 11:10 p.m. sept. nine.

i'm down with that, so i celebrate both.

first, i have decided to celebrate by eating a vegetarian diet with pescatarian leanings, but no dairy. and probably will end up vegan.

we have decided to try this because today is my 55th birthday and no end in sight to the pain i am in and will continue to be in. the last five years have not been kind. but today is my birthday so we are pro active, no whining allowed.

    AND, MY KINDLE ARRIVED.

    AND. I LOVE IT.

AND. I GOT AN ORANGE COVER.

    AND. IT'S SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE.

    ok. that's it.

we went out for sushi and we went to the hairdresser. what better day could a girl have.

    my cup runneth over.

I might actually give my Kindle to my mom...
Not having a real book with real pages just... isn't right.

I like BOOKS. To put on my shelf, and give to people when they're really good.

lins, i like books too...i love books....but all of the book stores that are worth a damn are going out of business and i'm going to have to learn how to buy a book from online, which i've been doing for a while...

so, the logical next step is to have an e-reader.

i think i'm going to love it. i'm stepping onto the cloud and we'll see if i like it. :)

plus, i am tired of dusting bookshelves....i'm tired of loaning out books never to see them again.

do you KNOW how many times i've had to buy my favourite books again, because i lent them to someone extraordinarily rude who never gave them back?

i don't re read many books, but there are some authors whom i love.....and i do re read them....only to find they are gone and i have to buy them again.

so, a kindle we will go and see how it goes. :)

Yeah I'm the same... I really want an e-reader of some kind (not many good options though, kindle is prob best but we can't get all the books from the amazon store, some stupid australian law or something... they have to be released for australians to buy for us to get them online, it's crap!), and I think I would like an e-reader, but I've just set up my bookshelf in our new house and I LOVE it, it's completely full and I've got so much to read, I do really like actual books in my hands
