i take hot hot showers. baths put me in a weird position and once i get out, i stiffen in that curled back position....i don't try to soothe the pain, other than the nerve pain. for that, it was either surgery or a pain patch....i opted for not having spinal surgery that would screw me up even more. i can take a lot of pain, but nerve pain is not in my vocabulary LOL....
i don't take any pills for the rest of the pain. i have enough to take in my vitamins :)
i walk. and i move around a lot....

I don't know what your pain is but have you ever used a TENS unit? I use it for my pain, (which I acquired after a car accident 12 years ago...works wonders!!!)

September 10th was our anniversary, so I took the weekend off and went MIA. Looks like you should just celebrate your birthday for 4 days instead of just 2![]()
