Default Clever names for a rescue group.

I'm in the process of starting an animal rescue that will focus on pulling urgent animals facing euthanasia. I need to come up with a name so we can raise enough money for a 501(c)(3). I'm at a total loss! Maybe some of you creative, clever folks can help me. Here are some things to consider: I am willing to work with dogs, cats and other critters so long as I have appropriate foster homes, so anything too species-specific probably won't work. I want something kinda catchy, not TOO depressing, and not super common or cliche. Here are a few of the ideas I like best that myself and others have come up with so far. You can throw "rescue" or "animal rescue" at the end of any of them...

    Tails of the Forgotten
    Forget Me Not
    All But Forgotten
    Paws Crossed

Then I was thinking of using Romeo and/or Frankie's names somehow, as they were both last minute death row dogs. Tossing ideas around with a couple friends, these came up: (again, tack "rescue" or "animal rescue" onto the end)
    Romeo's Redemption
    Home Sweet Romeo (lol)
    Where For Art Thou (hehe!)

There were also a few ideas using the word 'soul'. Maybe some of these could be played around with a bit, because I like the idea of using the word, I'm just not 100% on how to use it:
    Save A Soul
    Lost Souls
    Soul Survivors

The words 'redemption', 'salvation' and 'liberation' also came up quite a bit.

GAH. Anyone want to throw some more ideas at me?

I think any of those are good - except I wouldn't use the ones that sound kind of hopeless, like Lost Souls or All But Forgotten.

Good for you, I know getting the tax exemption is hugely difficult but once you have that you have alot more chance of getting donations.

I kinda like your name here. It's catchy.

I like Forget Me Not because if you are pulling pets who are facing imminent danger...a lot of them have been forgotten.

I'm not very bright at things like this, but I'm thinking, will let you know if I come up with anything half decent.
It's awesome that you are doing this - it's a very special person who's willing to take on something like this.

I also put a poll on Facebook and between here, there and text message votes, Paws Crossed is winning big time!

Does it have to be one that no body else in the county has taken yet or not? Like a non-copyrighted one or something?

I'm thinking the ones with Soul in the name sound too much like homeless shelters or soup kitchens. I like the ones with Paws in the name. Like Paws & Claws, or Cause for Paws. But a lot of the Paws ones have been taken by rescue groups already. I don't know if that is a problem.
