    Thumbs up Favorite soup recipes?

I'm trying to incorporate more soups into my boring diet routine, its been mostly chicken or fish, with whole grains and salads. Good but I need some variety. I made this really tasty spicy chicken soup today and its great, especially for those chilly winter days or if you have a cold, it will warm you right up.

I'm going to have a notebook or something so I can collect different recipes for the future.

Do you have any favorites you'd like to share?

Mmmm I love soup on a cold winter day. I have a couple of favorite recipes that I can share with you tomorrow when I can pull out the recipes without waking DH up. LOL

They're not super healthy....but they're good. Taco Soup & Wild Rice Soup are my all time favorites.

I love soup, especially in the fall and winter! One of my favorites is the Dakota Smashed Pea and Barley Soup from California Pizza Kitchen. It's so simple, but hearty and delicious. The recipe pretty much tastes just like the version in the restaurant. I love it!

One of my other favorite soups is fasolatha, which is a Greek bean soup. I have been making the krinos version, but I might try out other variations such as the ones on allrecipes. I like to eat it with egg noodles and top it with shredded parmesan

...and then my favorite soup in the whole wide world would probably be New England clam chowder, but I never make it myself...because once I see all the butter and heavy cream in the ingredients list, I lose the will to cook it...

Spicy Pumpkin Soup.. I make this EVERY autumn.

1 can of pure pumpkin..not pie filling.
1 carton of organic vegetable broth
minced, red peppers, garlic and onions to taste.
    2 pinches of cayanne
    2 tablespoons of brown sugar.

Bring it all to a boil and stir it well.
