Default OK I was going to wait...

But I can't hold it in any longer. I have a phone interview with Best Friends Animal Society (my absolute dream place to work) at the end of this month. It is giving me such bad anxiety I want to pull my hair out.

I just want to know. I want to know if the position is in Utah or in the new location they are developing in CA (cost of living is extremely different in both places). I want to know if I am at the beginning or the end of the interviews (starting to feel like the end, because they booked an interview 1 month in advance). I want to know if they would assist with the move, because if not I really need to start planning now.

I am trying really hard to be positive about the whole thing.
-Would I move to Utah? --YES!
-Would I move to California? --Sure, if I knew I could afford it.
-Would I take a pay cut? --For this position, DEFINATELY!

Please help ease my mind. Interview suggestions would be great. But anything positive will do.

You have to wait a whole month? Man, I would be nuts by then. At least on the good side, you have lots of time to practice answering interview questions.

Good luck - I don't have any advice, but I am hoping for the best for you in getting the job.

As far as waiting a month for an interview.....just to let you know, this is how a lot of big places work. When my husband got his first interview with a major corporation, it took them a YEAR from the date of the interview to the date of the phone call for the hire! Larger places do things in a totally different time frame then the rest of us. Just the fact that you got an interview is a huge plus!

Best of luck to you. It's a place I would love to work at!!

I've seen a look in dogs' eyes, a quickly vanishing look of amazed contempt, and I am convinced that basically dogs think humans are nuts.

    Good luck!!
The location in Utah is in Kanab, which is a pretty awesome place close to a lot of tourist type attractions like canyons and whatnot. Plus, its only an hour from Wahweap Marina on Lake Powell which means I would be insanely jealous!! Lol. There's also a ton of awesome little local places to eat, and its a very cute little small town.
Utah is a little bit different atmosphere than anywhere I've ever lived. I've found people either love it or hate it. I personally love it but I'm up in Orem, near Provo/BYU. Down in Kanab its not quite as "Utah" as it is up here, but its beautiful. Just don't stay at the Treasure Trail Motel. LOL.

I was down at Best Friends in June dropping off a cat who has severe Cerebral Hypoplasia (left over adoption cat when my dad retired). I was literally BLOWN away at the awesomeness of that place. I have lived in Utah my entire life but had never been down there, it was so amazing. I love their entire set up etc. It does get pretty hot down there in the summer, but it's so neat, as Linsey said it's not as 'utah' as up here, but it is beautiful. I do love Utah, I HATE the snow, but I really like living here, and I don't think they get much snow down south (they may) but just not as much as we get here.

I think I would enjoy Utah. I lived in a small town in college and I currently miss it. I love the idea of cannons and hiking areas near by as I love to get out with Avery when I can, plus I love taking pictures. I am sooo sick of the snow here but I love seasons from what I've read they still have seasons but its warmer way longer and they def don't get snow like we do.

And basically im just ready for change.
