Default White swiss shepard as SAR?

    Hey guys

So I'm looking to get a dog to do a bit of volunteer work as Search and resque around here with the red cross, or other groups like it (there's quite a few) I was looking into getting a white Swiss Shepard but I'm not sure if they would be very indicated for it, just wondering if you guys know anyone that uses them.

With the proper training I think any dog would be good for SAR

I'm probably wrong, but isn't White Swiss Shepherd just a different name for a white German Shepherd Dog? If so, I would say they'd be perfect for SAR. Beautiful looking dogs.

Ania is a search dog, and her fellow searchers are all varied. Most of the others are GSD's, but there are bloodhounds, golden retrievers, even a labradoodle! So, yeah, I would think that most any breed could be a search dog if given the proper training.

    What a pretty dog!
