Does anyone feed this, or any opinions? I am not able to see the ingredient section from my phone for some reason won't open it.
I've bought it as a snack for my guys, Julie. I think the consensus is that it is a bit too high in sodium.
There are certainly worse foods on the market. My guys went nuts for the stuff when I fed it.
I'm not CERTAIN but I think some also soured on it because a larger company scouped them up---but you'll have to verify this one, I'm not certain.

I've seen this at petco. I really have no idea if its good or bad though!
I've seen a look in dogs' eyes, a quickly vanishing look of amazed contempt, and I am convinced that basically dogs think humans are nuts.
People may forget what you said, and people may forget what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel......

Looking at the ingredients it doesn't seem that bad. Although I don't understand why they have to put salt in dog food. Its also not grain free but only looked at two kinds. May as well home cook your own dog food so at least you know what's really going in it. Plus I'm sure that stuff is way overpriced for a small amount.
my GUESS is that there is a reason it has higher than usual sodium levels.
Corporate for-profit monsters almost always have reason for doing what they do. Trust me on this because there would be a cost savings project to save on Sodium costs if they could do it ;)
My assumption is that they need the Sodium to help lengthen the shippable life of the product.

I've been feeding my two boston terriers the Vital line from Freshpet which was recommended by the vet and they've reacted beautifully to it. The Vital line is different from their other Freshpet brands because it is grain-free.
My pooches absolutely love it, which is more than what I can say for the dry stuff they were used to eating before! Don't think I will be switching off of this anytime soon.
Thank you for the replies. The e commercial made it look good, but neither of the pet stores near me carry it.
i think it's a response from the streets pounding out the message that people want better for their dogs, be it kibble or raw or pre made.
i have seen the ingredients of fresh pet...it's on the website....
they aren't the worst....and i don't think there is any more salt in that than there is in kibble or enhanced chicken
