Last post I guess I posted in the wrong place and got yelled at.
Any how I have changed feeding from all RMB's to RMB in the morning and then put out the dry food for the rest of the day (she eats when she wants too) The new dry is Be four BC grain. Great Stuff. Mostly meat and no grains or veggies. They have Buffalo, Pork, Salmon and beef.
Sheba's poop has gone from way too soft (almost cannon butt) to firm small ones which turn white after a day or so in the sun. No more film covered stools, etc.
I have been feeding her chicken thighs or legs in the morning and she eats the other the rest of the day. I do think that with the Before Grains, she is getting the vitals she needs. I never felt that she was getting the right stuff with what I was giving her. She wouldn't eat liver or other organs. I give her fish once a week and raw eggs and sardine oil. She also gets her raw port ribs as a treat.
She is doing well.
For the life of me, I don't understand what you think you are gaining by dumbing down the raw diet by giving her kibble. If sloppy stools were your only problem, that can be taken care of with a little tweaking.

why exactly is it so bad to feed kibble for one of the feedings (if you feed twice a day) and raw for the second one? to me it seems better than all kibble.
Just make sure you are feeding kibble 12 hours (8 hours minimum) apart from feeding raw. They digest differently, and although some people have and do feed it at the same time, it can cause big digestive problems, I wouldn't risk it.

I don't know what to do with kibble as I would never feed it to them again, but to firm up the stools, a bit more bone will do the trick. If my boys have sloppy stools, I give them a bone heavy meal for the next one, then make sure the bone amount is slightly upped in their regular meals after that. 10% bone isn't always accurate. My boys both do better on more bone.
And for organs, try organs from another animal. My boys eat anything, but a lot of dogs won't eat organs from certain animals.
I hope you get the poo issue sorted out :)
It's hearsay. 12 hours if you want to be careful or if your dog already has digestive problems or easy upset, 8 hour minimum is the suggested time.
