    Default Muttzoh Balls

    Ingredients:
    • 1 Cup of any natural dry dog food
    • 2 Eggs, beaten lightly
    • 1 Teaspoon of polyunsaturated oil
    • 1/3 cup of cold water
    • 1/2 Cup of chicken soup

    Instructions:
    1. Grind dry dog food smooth in a food processor or blender
    2. Lightly beat egg and add oil
    3. Mix all moist ingredients together (except the chicken soup)
    4. Mix moist ingredients with dry ingredients
    5. Form into 1/2" balls
    6. In a medium size pot, mix water with chicken soup, then boil
    7. Drop balls into boiling mixture
    8. Boil balls for 3 minutes
    9. Remove from water, drain, and refrigerate

This recipe caught my eye because I happen to love matzah ball soup, and had never considered creating a version for our dog! Heaven help me, but this recipe sounds like it would be delicious for humans (well, except for the dog food part). I'm going to print this and ask my wife to make this for our dog. Thanks for sharing it.

My wife made this yesterday and Chloe LOVED it! Truth be told, so did our cats. We tried to keep them away, but they were insistent. We only gave them a small amount, though, since we weren't sure if the dog food would be problematic for them.
