Red face Does anyone have a good recipe for a Saint Bernard?

I am starting to make homemade meals for my dog and I really want some more recipes for her, and specifically for giant breed dogs. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I know there are a few good books on dog nutrition on Amazon!

I'd look for the more holistic type ones. ;)

Are you going raw? I had excellent results mixing in quinoa into my golden retrievers' diet (instead of rice or other grain). It is a healthy, well-rounded source of protein. He loved quinoa mixed with chicken or beef filet and vegetables. Be sure to include some source of calcium, too. Suplimenting quinoa with meat proved to be a lean way of providing a healty source of protein to a large breed prone to weight problems. It seemed to help his coat shine, too!

I actually am not going raw, I just can't commit to that yet, but I will be giving a raw meaty bone every now and then and I haven't heard of quinoa before but I will have to research it and see if it's readily available in my area, but I do thank you very much for the tip, I am always looking for healthy new things to add to her food.
