I feed my own dogs raw, the meat is mostly turkey hearts and gizzards, and beef hearts. Added to that yogurt, raw eggs including shells, cottage cheese, fish oil, periodic brewer's yeast. Basic meal based on information from DogAware.com

4 dogs and it takes about 15 minutes to feed them all. A trip to the butcher a couple times a month, less than a dollar a pound.

I have begun working with a home based dog and cat adoption group, and would like to provide quality food at the lowest possible price.

A lightly cooked diet will be easier to have foster homes accept and feed than raw. I have bought a couple books highly recommended on DogAware.com

Does anyone have experience making large batches of homemade, lightly cooked pet food that could share some information? Including as to storing and distribution. I would like it to appear professional so that it is readily accepted. Thank you.
