Why aren't we asking the same questions Europe is asking about GMO products. Leading countries such as Germany, Austria, Russia and others have banned GMO foods due to proven studies.

Thank you, Pache, for speaking the truth on corn...

Common now! Do our dogs look like cows? (well maybe some of them do if they're eating too much...)

As a source of carbohydrates it is no better and no worse than other grains in terms of nutritional value and digestibility." Dogs do not need carbs as much as we do secondly why should a carnivore survive on plant matter of any kind included as a big part of its diet? Dogs don't need high fiber diets either and yes it is indigestible in a dogs stomach. Dogs have short intestinal tracts meant to handle meat if it was longer and they were omnivores more of the corn would be digested.

Speaking of herbivores, I won't even feed my horse corn.
    Certainly NOT my dogs!

I have been a dog groomer for over 12 years now and I can tell right away if a dog is on a poor quality food with fillers such as corn or wheat. Their coat is dull, they usually have chronic ear infections & their anal glands are dark and thick. I've always fed my 2 little dogs a grain free food....they are in the best of health and only visit the Vets when they need their yearly shots.

Yep, one of their products is a minimum of 70% corn (i.e. "maize")

Edited to add: and it's about $60 for 33 pounds. Of basically corn. Yikes.
